Painting a brighter future...(part2)

On the side streets, there were alot cars stuck on the snow. After the winter storm, still, there were people came to the fundraising event. One fella was stressed about the car getting stuck in the snow. I quickly sketch this one. (water color pencils for color)


It was great to see a wide variety of paintings, clothing, jewelry, christmass cards, book illustrations and stuffed toys sold at the art sale. People came, young and old to admire and buy the art. The jewel of the event are the artist themselves. Such talent and inspiration fills the atmosphere. Looking foreward for next year's event.

Painting a brighter future...

Come on December 5th, this Saturday @ ChromaColour Creative Art Centre. Jolekyo will be there to celebrate the 1st annual "Painting a brighter future for sick kids and their families". We will be selling posters and hand drawn cards on site. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta.
There is no admission but encourage a donation.

Rockin' on th cloud

Improvised from the initial idea of the character just rockin. Made him rockin' on a flying cloud instead. Enjoy.

Just cleaning it up abit then add the inbetweens. Keeping it simple.

Quick paint 貝 - かい

From imagination. Inspired from the Japanese word of the day: 貝. Got to study and practice more on how to paint light on surfaces.
